The Department of Pediatrics & Neonatology at Saviour Hospital provides comprehensive quality care for your child starting from birth to adolescence

The Pediatric Clinic

The OPD clinics run six days a week. To save your time it is advisable to take prior appointment to see a Pediatrician in the OPD. Even if you come without an appointment you will be seen by the pediatrician but you may have to wait for some time.

Accident & Emergency

Our A&E Department works round the clock where a qualified paediatrician is available at any time of the day. This service is meant to deal with emergency problems like injuries, breathing difficulty, seizures, high fever, nose bleeds etc.

In-Patient Services

Those children who are sick and require regular monitoring and care by the medical staff are admitted to the dedicated pediatric in-patient area which includes both twin sharing rooms and single rooms. Very sick children who require close monitoring are managed in the dedicated neonatal & pediatric intensive care unit.

The Pediatric department provides specialized care in the following areas

Childbirth and newborns

All deliveries and children born at our Hospital are attended by the pediatrician, complemented by well equipped delivery rooms and nursery to take care of the newborns. This is further supported by our neonatal trained nurses who provide full support to the mothers in taking care of the new born baby that includes helping in breastfeeding, bathing and cleaning and other day to day care.

Before discharge from the hospital the baby receives the regular vaccinations. After discharge from the hospital the pediatrician follows the child regularly in the outpatient clinic, to provide regular vaccination and to follow the child’s growth & development.
